Today's post is simply to celebrate the ephemeral beauty of the Hallerbos, the Belgian park just outside of Brussels in Halle.
Every spring, usually April or May, bluebells carpet the woodland. I've seen coverage in The Guardian, the Washington Post, and on CNN. Thousands of people line the road traversing the park to take in the spectacle.
Ours was just a little early-adopter digital camera, but the pros were out there too, getting the flowers at every possible angle and shutter speed.
But our pics aren't too bad for point-and-shoot. We'll be back again next year.
